A for few years she has been struggling because women needed to get accustomed to the idea that someone else will be determining their bra size. Considering that in 80s people were a bit conservative, she didn’t have a lot of customers, so Dorothy needed to change her job very often, but she never gave up.

When she reflects her life, she often says having this job was the best decision she could make. Her job is so much more than fitting bras; she is influencing a lot of women and always taking care of them. She says: “If you have a wrong bra size, not only you will look bad, but your health will be endangered.” For example, women who have big breasts often suffer from back pain, if they don’t have an appropriate bra size, the problem will get worse.

Ever since Dorothy has been in this industry, she worked for many department stores in Baltimore. Considering that 60% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, Dorothy thinks is essential to use her services, especially because they are free, having in mind she is working for the department store. She always advises her customers always to use the services of the professional bra fitter, if they are not sure in what size they are in. It will save you a lot of time and money because if you buy a wrong bra size, it won’t be wearable too long.
